I hope Pope can sell Oweh that this a Brea-type recruit. Would hate Oweh to pull an Acadian Lewis.
Wilkerson is the Robinson replacement (if we get him), IMHO.

This is how I see it:

PG Lowe replaces Butler.
SG Oweh returns.
SF Wilkerson replaces Robinson.
PF Dioubate replaces Carr.
C Quaintance (once healthy) replaces Williams.

PG Johnson replaces Kriisa.
SG Chandler returns.
SF Williams replaces Brea.
PF Jelavic replaces Almonor.
C Garrison returns.

G Perry returns.
F Noah returns.
C Moreno is bonus.

I feel like this has gotta be UK. He didn’t cancel the Kentucky visit after Indiana but he did cancel the Auburn visit after Kentucky. It was THIS visit where he apparently learned all he needed to know.
You’re right but also he was never going to Auburn. Whether he made that visit or not.

Wonder if the mysterious SEC coach that said he would likely sign with UK was Pearl after finding out Wilkerson won’t visit him.
Its Beard. Auburn and Pearl thought they'd get a visit but it was Beard and Ole Miss that thought it wouldnt get that far to get to them and why they went all in on Pierre (which is pretty much done deal for them with Pierre)

Wilkerson still being in Lexington is either visiting and hanging out with his uncle or they are finalizing the NIL deals and signing stuff etc. I cant imagine staying in Lexington to finalize him going to Indiana lol, that would be an epic troll move that doesnt seem like something a good character kid like him would do

Also there is plenty of room on teams for 2 or even 3 huge stars to coexist so this wont threaten Oweh at all. Oweh came in last year knowing this is a team thing so he's not someone wanting to be the only star

I see no reason we can’t go with a three guard lineup with Wilkerson technically being the 3. They should be able to co-exist pretty easily.
With the guys Pope has brought in and the guys he already had, it seems like he could plug and play to create 20 different lineups.
This team is going to be deeper than what we saw with Auburn and Alabama in 24/25

He's picking out drapes and throw rugs for his room at the lodge.

Nope. Never heard of him. My thing is why is everybody so concerned about who reports news first? Normally the first reaction to good news is exhilaration but this dude chose to wax negative about MMB stealing info. Then, after being presented with evidence to the contrary he doubles down with the useless negative, he got that from Jack Pilgrim crap. Who gives a rats arse where it came from. It’s good news. .
It's not really about giving credit where it's due. Frosty has been notorious for having bad info and being wrong. So if it's his own info, we know not to take it seriously or get excited by it. However, if we know he stole it from someone legit, like Pilgrim, THEN we can get excited and happy for the good news. Frosty has just burned people too many times and that's why you have folks that are very sensitive about where the info came from, including myself.

I’m telling you - Mag has a really good source on this. It’s true. I usually don’t put a lot of stock in what he says, but let’s just deal with it this round.
Man, God bless you. I keep telling people that and getting literally crushed for it. I gave up and said what’s the point? Doesn’t matter that people who KNOW have confirmed it. Can’t tell em, because “Frosty Tips” and “ARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHH”.

It's between us and IU. And why ANYONE would want to go there after the disaster of a season they had including guys getting arrested at Taco Bell and dudes hanging out in casinos when they have a tipoff in like 8 hours.

Wild.
To be fair totally different staff but they only have a team of 4 guys right now. Play time and NIL but no guarantee they will be any good while we are loaded and will probably contend bigly all year.

I don’t usually put any stock into what he says but since it’s confirmed I will let people know that at least.

On paper it looks good but Auburn and Bama were deep and proven. We need to actually play first and see if we dominate like they did first. I love the possibilities though.
And we should be a top team all year.

I can believe he does, but if you don’t mind sharing, I’m curious how you know that to be true.
I have a friend who happens to be close friends with someone with very close ties the team. He told me MM had a contact. My friend used to have direct ties to Cals staff, but was outcast when he mistakenly fell victim to some real ********.

I have another friend who is knowledgeable and connected with a media source that everyone knows. He told me same. And he hates Maggard with a passion, so he wouldn’t want to even say the words trust Maggard unless it was probably legit. So heard it from two.

My buddy tied to media told me Gwath was going to commit, Alvaro was going to commit. Both were very true at the time. Gwath just had a chance of heart at last minute. Alvaro would have committed but Pope put it on hold, and we see why with AJ committing.

My buddy tied to team told me Wilkerson was not a done deal to IU and we would probably get a visit. I implied in a thread that we should think about Wilkerson and I was shut down immediately by those in the know that he was lock to IU per Trilly. I simply replied not what I heard.
