I wouldn't say stuck either, I like Campbell, but some are not happy with him.
Ok explain how NIL works, and how for a fact you know it's all Kraft's fault.
Instead of paying Kraft's buyout that money could be put towards the football program somehow I would think.
Here's something to think about. Anyone with an ounce of football acumen, will acknowledge that Matt Campbell is a proven program builder. The issue is, how valuable is a "builder" when NIL/RS war chests are creating winning rosters virtually overnight? The hire never made sense for PSU. Campbell ideally would have gone to a perpetual downtrodden program and brought ISU like results. PSU was looking for someone to take them from very good to "excellence at the highest level."
All the fans that gushed over his "lunch pail" appoach.....I wonder how many ever carried one?
This will be an interesting game. I think PSU has a 45% chance to win. Michigan is a 5 or 6 loss team.
Add in an actual loss to a directional school. On the other hand, they did beat Oklahoma.
If PSU can win this game, I think 8-4 is realistically on the table. A disappointment considering most figured 9-3 was the floor with this cream puff schedule.
Unless NIL increases 8-4 is pretty much the 2027 and 2028 ceiling as well.
