Ewww, hate LK.

He would definitely have the offense moving the ball, he seems restricted at Bama (for good reason).

He does seem to recruit well.

His dad is 1000 times better than our current DC.

How did he tank USC???

Awful position to be in right now...

Not too high on this choice. However, he's learning first hand from the best on how you run a college football program. He may be a better head coach when he gets his next chance.

Kiffin is what he is. A very good offensive coordinator with the right team, but he has proven to be a bust as a head coach. Would not want risk to risk taking Kiffin for job that has to be done right the next time.

I could see him doing infinitely better than Stoops at UK. He has received great training under Saban and can recruit. Hadn't even thought of him before but wouldn't object despite his failure at USC. We ain't no USC.

If give my left nut for lane kiffin. And I think he's a total douche. At this point just shut down uk football. Start a flag football league and let them use the facilities.

no we don't want Lane. not because of any personal stuff, he's not a good head coach. he is the same thing we have now. he is a good coordinator not head coach material. Very different things to be successful at the 2.

Well, I don't want him then lol. She is one fine woman
haha, no kidding. there is talk in Tuscaloosa all the time about him prowling coeds. Imagine Billy G part 2. Billy was right before social media. Kiffin doing what he does now in T-Town in Lexington would be Jerry Tipton's dream.

He might just be Saban's heir. I don't think he would take the UK job.

I feel like I should start a thread for Greg Schiano. He is a good football coach who built a successful team at Rutgers of all places, washed out in the pros, and is now the DC at Ohio State.

Plus there is hearsay testimony that he knew about Sandusky in the mid-90s. That would be a positive for those who think there ought to be some suggestion that UK's next coach is a POS on a human level.

Good shut up and get out. NCAA doesn't give a Y, so win. At any cost

Lane has matured at Alabama, I would take him in a heartbeat.

You kidding? Before his divorce, maybe the cause of it he had an online account at a lonely hearts website to meet women, he supposely had a fling with a booster's wife. He doesn't have enough discipline about himself to be in charge of a program, but he has turned out to be a great OC for Bama.

Good Lord. This weekend has been a fascinating study in how desperation turns mobs stupid. Ed Orgeron. Art Briles. Lane Kiffin. I half expect to see a thread about Steve Kragthorpe. Jesus people. Go ahead and panic, but at least have the good sense to imagine UK with a better coach.

Not hiring him because of his marriage or extra marital affairs, hiring him as a football coach. Pretty much a fact most Coaches have had multiple wives and probably affairs.
