Man, that 2014 OL class (Krok, Richardson, LaRubbio, Stallings) I was so excited about has completely fallen apart. Not a good way to build OL depth.
You would've praised him when he signed...MAC level talent. Hence why he is going to Miami Ohio. Wish him the best but won't be missed. Stoops and co struck out on that entire Oline class

Larubbio and Krok had injury problems, Larubbio before he got to campus and Krok after he came. Richardson apparently lost his desire to play. It's far too early in Stallings' career to think of him as a bust as the last I saw he was running 2d team behind Toth. Stallings also has OG experience so that versatility could pay off.
All schools lose players as the years go by. Whether these loses are extraordinary, who knows.I agree on Bunchy. But I was also high on the other three so who knows. What sucks is now that we're down to one OL in the 14 class and we only have three left from the 13 class (Meadows, Haynes, Meyers) that means we only effectively signed 4 OL in Stoops' first two classes. Not nearly enough considering the lack of talent and depth he inherited.
Since this is a tweet I felt it was free game.
LOL!! No, it hasn't. Football is a competitive game. Every football team losses players who can't deal with the depth chart. This time of year, some players move up and others move down. Here are starters from the 2014 class. Baker, Barker, Edwards, Elam, Juice, Ware, Boom. Also on the playing chart are Bone, Firios, Horton, Middleton, Walker, West. Jucos Johnson, Flannigan, Stamps came in the 2014 class and started while they were here. It was actually an excellent class, especially under the circumstances at the time, coming off a 2-10 season.Man, that 2014 OL class (Krok, Richardson, LaRubbio, Stallings) I was so excited about has completely fallen apart.
Yes, this is definitely an issue to watch. By my current count, Kentucky's roster is at, or maybe still 1 over, the 85 scholarship limit if all of the February signees enroll. Usually, someone doesn't qualify. Kentucky is scheduled to have 8 seniors this year. There are already 11 verbal commitments to our 2017 class, and Stoops is still recruiting Wills, Gray, Ajian, Paschal. So apparently, Stoops is still anticipating several more departures.Another point, the small 2017 class gets bigger for some improved classes' numbers balance.

What concerns me about Bentley is the fact that he was throwing the shot put about 38 feet in 2015. Not sure if that distance has risen appreciably this year or if he is even still throwing, but it does suggest some attention to overall strength and agility might be in order. Or perhaps he is just a strong lad whose physique is ill-suited for that event. You can check the results on milesplit but the current year is behind a paywall.
You have to clear space on the roster. I am sure Stoops and schlarman gave larrubio a fair evaluation of his future here. Guys that transfer down generally where not sec talents anyways.Quality OL depth takes years to develop in the SEC. If we keep having guys leave after their second year because they're not in the two deep then we'll never have good depth down the road.
