Looking a lot better today. Taylor 2-2 from 3-point land, Kopp with big dunk.

Turner really needs to get out of his 3pt slump.

Officiating strange again. Allowing LaSalle to bang our guys down low. Seems like we get called for that whenever Pardon does the same. Meanwhile, Benson gets called for simply reestablishing position?

Greer still stuck on bench. Why?? We get the turnover twosome of Ash and Gaines?

Ash taking control! Love it! Definitely look like a sweet sixteen team today! Just need Ash to get healthy! We need Taylor to play great all year like he is doing today! Plus Nance is the real deal!

There must be something mechanical in his shot that is wrong and is now in his head. He doesn't look like he is releasing the ball smoothly. It looks like he's pushing his 3-point shot.

Stop celebrating. It was a nice dunk, but hustle back on D and get into position. Why Pardon feels the need to pump up his guys so much, I have no idea. Be professional!

Agree, it doesn't look right on release. Keep driving the ball, at least that is working for him.

Still waiting to see Gaines beat his guy and slash to the hole. Didn't he do that last year a bit? Or, take his guy into the post and use his strength like in the exhibition.

Now you see why Greer doesn't get 25 minutes a game. He can't quite keep up in this man-to-man defense we play.

Taylor shooting better tonight. Wish he'd take this killer attitude approach in every game.

Better performance, much worse competition. Hard to gauge too much from this one, but nice to see Taylor feeling it.

Looking forward to the day that Nance discovers his own size and strength and figures out how to use them. Right now he plays like a spot up 3 pt spot up shooter.

Is it necessary to play the same D all game long? Doesn't it help confuse the other team if you mix it up a bit?

Pick your poison. The O shuts down with a couple of other options we put in.

Yea I'm not sure why. Was Nance scouted as a stretch big? I feel like he could play a little closer the to the bucket especially when Pardon is on the floor.

Ash took control of this game! We are solid! We are causing turnovers and breaking the press.

I think you're watching the wrong channel!
It was a tight game until Ash came in the second half! He caused two turnovers and got four defensive rebounds and three assists. Most of those stats came in a tight game which we blew open! The stars of the game were Turner and Taylor however! Those guys were lights out! We are a sweet sixteen team if Ash stays healthy as Pardon and Law are all Big Ten level!

I hate the bias of officiating around press teams. If you press all the time, then the ticky-tack fouls don't get called. But, if you don't play press D and then get more aggressive, they DO get called. Really irritating.

We are not a very good team. This is a horrid LaSalle team and we can't pull away from them because we just simply lack skill.

Very much agree. Ash and Gaines are not Big Ten basketball players. I still have a little hope for Greer, but not a hell of a lot. We are in desperate need of a point guard who can handle the press.

Ash took control of the game at the 15:30 mark of the second half of the game. He cased three turnovers and had four defensive rebounds, and three assists and we were up by 21,right before he left at the 9:45 mark.

Some of this is timing. Who knew Lathon would be “cut” at the last minute and left us scrambling. Collins error was not going hard after a transfer pg. Ash has never materialized and I’m thinking that letting Greer earn his stripes is the way to go here. It is disappointing that we can’t seem to recruit a bonafide Lead Guard/Point Guard at least every other year

Gaines is a Big Ten player on the defensive end. His defense is excellent. Offensively, he’s a below average player at this time, but I DO see the potential for him to be more then that, whereas Ash doesn’t have the ability to develop any more offensively. He is what he is...although he doesn’t try to do more than what he can do. He plays within his limits.

We were in control of the game at the half when we were up 19, at which time Ash had no points, no assists and no rebounds. But chin up wrassler, one of these days he might do something worthwhile. I hope so!

Totally wrong. Ash came in the first half when we were up by 9! He left when we were up by 13! Point differential of plus 4! He had two defensive rebounds during that stretch. Then in second half,Ash came in when we were up by 14, he left when we were up by 19 for a positive five point differential. That was when the game was in balance! Ash improved our score by nine positive points While the game was in balance. Ash had four defensive rebounds, three assists and three steals! What more do you want?

LOL! The one trick pony up to his old tricks. Ash is not a PG. The offense always goes to a screeching halt when he is out there. The ball moves much better with Greer out there. Will need Gaines out there for defense on 12/1 v. Romeo. Law needs to avoid foul trouble. You can’t have your team’s MVP and best player on the bench for extended minutes.

This is exactly why Wrassler does this board and Ash a disservice with his ridiculous posts, imo. He baits people into dumping on Ash, when it appears that Jordan is playing hurt and is doing the best he can.

This!!!!! Wrasslers game is actually designed to be detrimental to Jordan. Wrassler WANTS people to crap on him. He gets some bizarro high from it. It’s pretty disgusting.
