Last night’s result against CCarolina says everything

Shame Beaner squandered a potentially great year and great talent by sticking with a buffoon for an OC, and lousy offensive coaches. Shame’s lack of vision, his unwillingness to fire incompetent staff, and his lack of killer instinct will cost him his job. And rightly so. The result against Coastal showed what could have been. But it’s all too little too late; next year we won’t have the firepower at multiple positions, and we’ll still have a horrible schedule. Shame won’t make it past next season.

I would not put too much stock into it. It was one game against one of the worst defenses in all of FBS.

There is potential we could return a good portion of our 2 deep. The reality of that happening, due to the landscape, seems unlikely though.
But we shall see soon enough since we don’t have to wait for a bowl for decisions to be made.

We also looked like dog crap against SC State with Shula calling shots. Not that it’s a terribly high bar, but it would appear that Furrey is an upgrade over Shula.

Agreed, but I would be an upgrade over Shula...and I was 3rd string TE on my middle school team so I know what I'm talking about

Beamer probably survives to next season. But the next OC hire has to be spot or he may not be here for all of 2026. 😬
Let’s see what happens with Clemson first though. 😬
