Everyone contributed:
Jelly - 7 rebounds & 2 steals
Malachi - 6 assists!
OO - 18 points
Denzel - 19 points & running team well
Kam - 9 points in limited minutes
Collin - Everything!! Points, rebounds, steals, 0 turnovers in 32 minutes
Brandon - rebound & 2 blocks
Mo - 9 points , 6 rebounds
JJ & Trent - limited time on court but they will have their moments

Free throw shooting - spectacular
Trent will be getting playing time replacing Kam and he can shoot.

I never thought this season would be turned around. All remaining games are tough and we probably will lose some. But this team has turned the corner and are playing hard nosed defense and sharing the ball.

Kudos to CMP and staff also - They have been ridiculed and now should get some credit for this resurgence.

Agree. That was one of the more enjoyable games I’ve seen from this squad. Guys even looked like they had fun.

Your are right, Noah can shoot. Problem is he refuses to. No idea why, but it has to be a sports psychology issue of some sort.

Winning is always better than losing.

This one is tempered a bit by the Williams injury.

I thought it was an ankle the way he went off the floor. But “foot injury”?

This team can’t catch a break.

Pope has worked his butt off to turn this thing around and is doing it while dealing with injuries to key players.
Also, his individual player development with DA, MM and even Mo, is pretty inpressive. He has had to be a coach and a psychologist to get this team where it is right now.
Problem is, the damage that’s already been done, is pretty bad and now we're looking at a remaining schedule that is rated the toughest in the country.
I'm not sure Pope is the right guy for this job right now, but I have to give crefit where credit is due.

Also, can we stop with the Trent Noah Rah Rah stuff? He shot the ball okay a couple times last year, but that's it. He's a good shooter in practice, but if you can't shoot in games, you're not a good shooter.
We have to remember, Pope can't just play a guy because he's a Kentucky kid and he can shoot open jumpers in practice. He still can't guard anybody in this league and again, he can't hit shots in actual games.

Nah. Not just yet
I seem to remember him hitting quite a few last season
He just needs to get his mind right
He can shoot if he gets past that mental block

I hope you're right, but something is off with him this season. Seems like he's not himself.

Trent is going to get his chance. Let’s get behind him! Hopefully, he will find his shot and give us some good effort on the boards. Let’s go Trent!

I would love to see Noah produce but we've had several Ky kids that burned the nets up in practice.

The offense is full of movement and cutting again. We had an unexplained 15 game hiatus of garbage offense, then we're back to normal. That just shouldn't be.
