I just watched the replay. Other than the ball screen…NO ONE MOVED! Kam Williams was buried in the opposite corner the entire time. Oweh and Aberdeen were just standing on the wings waiting for the ball. HOW THE HECK WAS IT SUPPOSED TO PLAY OUT?!?!?!

But, Coach, there were guys standing in the spots we were standing. You didn't tell us that would happen!

Like I said during the game if this team has to score in the half court it will be ugly . The one great stretch that we had to get the lead up was when we got out and ran .

Lowe looked terrible outside of a two good passes on the break to Kam and an open 3 he shot. Soon as I saw him dribbling on that last play I knew it was trouble

Incompetence all the way around. I’m convinced our players cannot run sets based on their lack of basketball IQ. This play was out of a timeout. I give up.

My lord you can’t make up a play that bad and Pope defends that crap on the postgame. I’ve never seen such incompetence.

and what makes it worse is that its not like there was just 3 seconds left....but pope had 9 seconds to run some kind of action to get someone a three. instead he chose a pick and roll which allowed defenders to stay home since uk was down 3, you dont need to guard the screener who is no threat to shoot a three. end result....a dumb shot

Down three and you throw it into a guy shooting 21 percent from three and he goes to the side of a guy shooting 31 percent from three. I know we stink at three point shooting, but the guy shooting anything decent on this team was opposite side corner. Even if you penetrate nobody is going to help guard the lane up three. You have to at least run some action toward Williams.

And lack of skills, there is not one good passer on the team. Every pass is an adventure.

This play, and that play where he got blocked like someone's little brother, are who Lowe is as a player. That's who our brilliant coach recruited to drive the "Ferrari".

I don’t know what he was thinking shooting that you are talking about lol. That play kind of changed the momentum of the game .

He said on the postgame the plan was for Lowe to get downhill and draw defenders then kick it to Kam for a three.

I don’t know why Missouri would help off shooters up 3 that late as opposed to just giving up a layup, but then again we did it over and over against Alabama so

Guess Cam said after that that was not the drawn up play. The play was for a penetrate and pitch to Cam BUT that didn't happen. You could see that Oweh wanted the ball and Lowe decided he was the star so he took the shot. Goes back to the team chemistry that the fans have seen all season regardless of what Pope and the players are trying to say.

In the last time out it appeared OO wasn’t real happy with what Pope was saying. Maybe he thought what was getting ready to happen was a sh$t show as well.
