The truth of the matter is that this team has only won games with a rabid fan base in the building. Our most impressive win in the last two years was at Purdue, but besides that we only won due to great energy at the RAC. This team is flat, uninspired, undisciplined, etc. We are full of upper classmen that spend most of their time feeling sorry for themselves. I do not see 6 wins left on this schedule.

OP is right and RU was a woeful 2-10 on the road last year and cannot win without the home crowd, they were overrated clearly

We played horribly tonight. The lack of value of possessions was staggering. Our leaders were a total no show. This team is very soft mentally. Hopefully they toughen up and win some games

Getting late early. Really disappointing season. @PiscatawayMike rold us when Cliff came back we would be fine. He was wrong.
I never said that, but do think we will be fine. I said we'd likely have two more wins if Cliff was healthy all season. Things look bleak right now, but it only takes one win for the team to regain its confidence. That win is coming soon.

Simple math explain Rutgers losing streak. They are consistently out scored at the foul line which gives opponents a decided advantage. The inability to make shots around the basket causes players to get frustrated while opponents make the baskets or get fouled. The players that are supposed to be the go to scorers are missing in action which is a loss of at least 20 points. The bench players except for Caleb aren't scoring threats.
