1. Moreno is solid. Displays confidence and composure for his age and position. I think he is a keeper.

2. UKs guard play is all over the place. There is no established offense or structure. I'm not going to negatively call out anyone but it's clear there isn't cohesion or the "happiness" for others to succeed. In other words, selfish guard play. Like very selfish guard play.

3. I'd be surprised if JQ even plays. I imagine there are agents telling him to Sharpe the year.

4. I wish we did have our best players on the floor. Pope is going to take alot of heat and is currently but I do think his roster would be alot better with those guys playing more minutes. Again, we put in a lineup who plays to score for themselves, there is 0 chemistry and I'd be surprised if these guys even hang out.

5. We shoot wide open airballs at home in multiple games. I've never seen that before watching any college team. I think they need to figure that out. Depth perception or whatever it is.

6. I think UK will make the Sweet 16 somehow.

Unless Mitch Barnhart pulls strings and gets us Duke level officiating in the SEC, we're not making the tournament. We're not winning road games and half the SEC teams are still good enough to whoop us at home.

I agree with you about Moreno. He has a knack for getting rebounds and blocking shots. I like his game
Pope needs to post up Jelavic. He has proven this year to have good moves inside but Pope has him chucking up 3s.
Hopefully Quaintance is a stud and him and Lowe can get us going. We are not going to succeed with the bunch that is out there now. No shooters for a system that requires shooters. Bad roster choices.

JQ and Lowe aren't going to play, but neither of them are offensive juggernauts that are capableof fixing that issue. JQ is a good defender, but Lowe isn't.

So, with JQ, you'll get more blocks and rebounds, but you'll also get someone coming back limited off ACL surgery.

Lowe is a bad shooter and bad defender with a bum shoulder. Opposing teams will keep shoulder checking him if he were to play.
