It will be interesting to follow Jordan Lathon's progression at UTEP. In their opener against UT Permian Basin last night he had six points, 10 boards, four assists and two blocks.

And 8 turnovers.

But he would have looked good in Purple.

In the words of the great Coach Norman Dale.... "I would hope you would support who we are. Not, who we are not. These six individuals have made a choice to work, a choice to sacrifice, to put themselves on the line 23 nights for the next 4 months, to represent you, this high school. That kind of commitment and effort deserves and demands your respect. This is your team."

Sounds like he threw the ball into the Permian Basin, which is a big place.

Out of curiosity, I looked at Johnnie Vassar’s line in his Tennessee Tech debut: 19 minutes, 2-6 shooting (2-3 from 3), 2-2 FT, 8 points, 3 rebounds, no assists or steals, 5 turnovers, and he fouled out.
