Former UofL football player Latrell Ware passed away today. He played under coach Schnellenberger. He still came to football games and talked old times with me at tailgating. He was an extremely nice man and he will be missed.

I can still see LW taking that pass from Browning Nagle 70 yards to the house against Bama in the ‘91 Fiesta Bowl.

May be my all-time favorite game simply for the “David vs Goliath” angle.
