Lauren Boyd

I’d say she’s back…

Lauren Boyd doesn't wear a facemask on the mound. She is a bad@$$.

We will need her to deliver at the Big Ten tourney in order to have a chance for an NCAA bid.

Lauren has really stepped up over the last several weeks. While earlier in the year I thought she was behind Ashley Miller in the panoply of our recent aces, based upon her recent performances (as well as the fact that Ashley struggled at the end of last season because of fatigue, injury or whatever), while Lauren still sits behind Danielle she has moved ahead of Ashley. When Lauren is pitching, we have a very good chance of winning. Go Cats!

Why is Boyd not pitching tonight? The challenge that just happened is so NU.
