First, it’s sad that either team had to lose. I really like the folks and communities from both of these areas. Especially the regular posters from the Appomattox general area. (Not to take anything away from the good folks that post in the Daleville area, but there just aren’t very many). I
think it has become obvious that this is not one of those years where Appo is a giant killer. Having said that, they played a huge, talented LB team about “even up” for 3 quarters. But when the tide turned it looks like the flood gates opened. I was afraid for the Cavaliers for a long time, that their remarkable victory last week was going to be tainted a little by losing the following week. Coach Harless must have found the right words at the start of the 4th quarter.
