Why don't you guys just hire him? He'll have Nebraska going 10-2 or 11-1 in three years, if not sooner. Dude just went 8-4 in the SEC with his three star talent.

I still think Nebraska is recovering from the Steve Peterson disaster. It takes awhile.

Doubt he'd do that well. Tonight was his only good win this year. Arkansas is probably his second best win. Yes he would be a massive upgrade, but 11-1 in 3 years? Leach has only won 11 games twice in his career

Yes but he coached at two very mediocre to bottom dwelling type programs. Nebraska is a much better program structurally then are Wash St. and Miss State, and the Big Ten isn't as tough as the SEC.

This year, he’s beaten A&M, Arky, Auburn, and Mississippi at SEC bottom dweller MSU.

At bottom dweller TTech, never had a losing record and finished a season ranked as high as 12.
At bottom dweller Wazzu, finished a season as high as #10.

Time for him to make a move to a real football school and see what his ceiling actually is… JMO

Dude can flat out coach. So, if it’s not Rhule or Fickell then I would love Leach but that sure doesn’t seem likely

He usually has about an 8 or 9 win ceiling. While that is far better than what we have had in about 7 years now, a lot of our fan base grew weary of Bo Pelini and his 9 win ceiling.

His coaching tree is one of the best. Not only has he had success, but taught it to many others.

Rumor is he might retire for health reasons. Dude can coach, especially teams that are usually over matched talent wise.

As much as I love Leach, he just isn’t a fit in the B1G with the style of offense that he runs…. Could he adapt? Yes, it I don’t see him changing much of his offensive philosophy. My 2 cents (which isn’t much) is that Nebraska needs to hire someone to fix the trenches on both sides of the ball…. A coach that understands the B1G blueprint and that will value O & D line play and then build from there… just what I think but I trust Trev to make the right call
