Man, I really hate that we essentially lost three buzzer beaters in a row early this season, and it makes the recent close loss at Minny really sting. So you have to wonder what we’re gonna do about it. I have two 2-part questions:

1) Why do some teams we should beat shoot so well against us from beyond the arc, and what are we gonna do about it?

2) Why do we so often get off to such a slow start in games, and what are we gonna do about it?

I know we can say Willis really went off on us, so tip your cap. I get that, except we had guys from UMass and DePaul do the same thing, so it makes you think we should have learned from those early losses and corrected it.

Same thing with slow starts, wtf. It should be something we addressed and corrected by now.

I like Pike and I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt. I say he figures these things out and they get corrected starting tonight, and we go on a winning streak that puts us back on the bubble.

Let’s go!

A wise man once told me. “The greatest thing I know is the fact I don’t know”. We DONT know why Rutgers can be 10-1 at home but show their worst performences in the road. WE don’t know. But we can just hope they somehow figure it out and string out the next two winnable games away and a couple takeaway games in the gauntlet.

If I were a glutton for punishment I’d go back and watch the all our OOC losses to see how we defended the arc, how we attacked any zone, and what may have caused us to get of to any slow starts.

I just hope our coaches and players have already figured it out and we see the improvements tonight and for the rest of the season.
