The NBA is and has been a joke for a while now. No real rivalries. Mercenaries chasing rings. The best players in the league wear skinny jeans and women's shoes. Additionally, it's a league that subsidizes a failed WNBA league for 20 years, plays tournaments in lame COVID bubbles, ignores China's human right's violations while amping up faux racial outrage in the US with "say her name" jerseys.

And all of it has worked. The NBA is bigger than it's ever been, and it's major market target audience is more gullible than ever.

It's all about cash flow now, and we need to face it that the average moronic NBA fan would rather watch Bronny go 1/4 from the field while playing 12 minutes with his dad than watch some other rando go for 33 points and 12 rebounds.

It's an entertainment industry; and clownish as this might be, it's entertaining. People will tune in to watch this farce of a tandem, and given the current state of the NBA, I guess I'm left wondering why this move by LBJ and Bronny surprises any of you. The league died the second LeBron left Cleveland the first time.

They were on the court for 8 minutes together last nite. I support a father supporting family above all else.

LeBron: "It's always been family over everything. For me, I lost a lot of time because of this league and committing to this league. Being on the road at times, missing a lot of his things, Bryce's things, Zhuri's things, so to be able to have this moment where I'm working still and I can work alongside my son, it's one of the greatest gifts I've ever gotten from the man above and I'm going to take full advantage of it."
What does this have to do with UK?

I know the mods here are basically nonexistent, but there is no point in posting this here. If you want someone to talk to, call your mother.

And Bronny had almost nothing to do with this. Other than stay alive this long.... which was shaky for a bit. This was LeBron making history.

And there's never any nepotism in politics, at least on a certain side, lawyer's son, daughter and her husband in WH, daughter in law Chair's the grand ole party.
And? That doesn't in any way refute that this thing is ridiculous and wrong, just as those things are.

Does he have a daughter? Maybe they can make "history" too by putting her on the team and letting her on the court. Or heck, make even more "history" by adding his wife and any other kids and be the first family to comprise the full starting lineup for a team in an NBA game.
