I have always found it odd how other programs that are much bigger in fb that have a winning history much more storied than ours. They have coordinators that are not sought after or they just dont leave for years. But it seems no matter what record we have winning or losing other programs love to poach our staff .
This is why you have to celebrate any fb sucess we get in any year because it's just impossible for a program as ours to constantly have a staff more than 2-3 years with continuity.

Because of that record of mostly mediocrity, we tend to get younger staffs early in their careers, who are looking to move up. The established powers have coaches who have basically reached their destination jobs and have entrenched themselves.
Those bigger programs pay bigger bucks than we do. It is easier to poach coaches that aren’t in the million dollar a year price tag. Alabama is an example of a program that pays big bucks but their coaches get hired away every year.
Ledford will get his. Hopefully it’s next year after we have one great season.
