Not a big fan of Lee, but it's hard to think of many positive things Eichorst has done here to deserve his $1.1 million salary. He's one of the top 5 highest-paid ADs in the country and yet we are absolutely terrible in the 2 major sports. Thank God Bounds didn't give him that contract extension.

I started a thread about exactly three years ago when SE broke his hard/fast rule about not talking in season until, suddenly, his sexagenarian hand-picked, no other interview, coach needed PR help after a 1-2 or 2-4 or whatever point it was, start. Pulling out today to suddenly comment, again, is a real telling story about SE's make-up. I caught a lot of crap about him breaking his self-imposed protocol that day; maybe I'll go back and see what posters were so tough about defending his change in MO.

No one is as efficient as Eich at coaching searches. Think of all that money he saved the U by only looking at one resume and making one phone call.
Next search will be the same. Unless Frost turns them down.

Shawn will not (l probably should say cannot) be allowed to conduct the next coaching search. If MR goes down, and that's a real possibility at this point, he takes Shawn with him.

You know this as fact? You don't even know who the next AD will be...

I'm confident it won't be Howdy Doddy making the same mistake.
