Lena took a direct tornado hit this afternoon. Early reports of a lot of damage in the town including Lena Winslow High School.

On the same subject. Have any of you ever viewed the video Clem Schultz shot in 2015 of a tornado in Fairdale, IL. It is insane. Story I read was, he and his wife were in their house. As the storm approached people were advised to leave, if they could as Fairdale was in line for a direct hit. Clem, 85 at the time, decided to stay. He went up to his attic to get lanterns as a tornado approached. His wife took cover on the lowest floor. When Clem looked out an attic window he saw the tornado approaching and decided to take the video instead of going back down.
Clem shot the video all the way till the tornado hit his house and beyond. Insanity. Miraculously, Clem survived. However his wife didn't. I just saw this video for the first time about a month ago. Watch the whole 3:00+ of this.
