What UK team did he play for? Sounds like a bench guy from back in the day if he was 83 and not well known. Why didn't Rupp play him more?

That leaves Kirk, Chekov, Sulu, and Uhura
i saw a 1960 episode of Twilight Zone with Scottie playing a minor part. Nimoy was in an early sci-fi movie in a bit part as an air force radar operator. Kelley was in a western or two way back. Of course Shatner was in a very well known episode of Twilight Zone

Saw him at EKU when I was a student there. He talked about S T among other things. Auditorium was full.

He used to Tell Captain Kirk he was "incapable of error" and I have borrowed many times and told my wife that same line.
