They just said on ESPN that Ohio St. had never beaten Clemson. Anyone remember when Woody Hayes punch the Clemson player in the gut after that interception on the side line. How cheap was that? His 1st name was Charlie and his 2nd name began with a B. Charlie Baum maybe. I never really respected Hayes much before that and lost any for him after that. I think it eventually cost him his job. Was that a title game? Does anyone remember? I'm hoping Clemson keeps that no loss vs OSU tonight. OFC

That hurt...Clemson in the hole early. Thankfully, there is plenty of time left, but not a good start for the Tigers.

I didn't know Dobbins had burners like that in open field. A lot of players slipping too.

I hope so too, Sky. Not looking good early though.

1978 gator bowl. Clemson won their first title 3 years late

If Higgins is done for the game, I don’t like their chances at all

I probably haven't watched enough college football to total a half throughout the season, but I've lost control of the remote tonight, so I'm watching the games? I hope Oklahoma just had a really bad night because that was embarrassing.

Corrections. He played nose guard. Hayes hit him in the throat. Charlie Bauman was the correct name. This wasn't the 1st time Hayes was involved in punching someone. Several incidents where he physically attack someone. I've always had a hard time with people who cannot control their tempers. Hayes as great as coach as he was just couldn't get that emotion mastered. He however won 5 national chamionships. OFC

I don't have a dog in this fight, but I hate that call. I'm all about safety, but what is that dude supposed to do?

If Clemson can keep it at 16-7 going into the half they have to be happy. They’ve been thoroughly dominated for 30 minutes....to be down just nine is a minor miracle.
