Electrical foreman and gun restoration shop owner .
The gun restoration is but it started as a side venture then blew up . I’m actually in Georgia now finishing the new Remington arms facility up on the electrical . Being a foreman is great but dealing with the youth of today not so much .

I was a traveling auditor/trainer for my company. I did that for three years and will celebrate my 25th year with the company next summer. I finally got back in a store this summer, close to home, and I am off the road for now. Living in hotels sucks ***.
I love films, reading, hiking, and I started running again and riding a peloton.

I can agree with you on the hotels Bleed. And yes if the cellphone/internet was to crash , the youth of today would go into a depression. Can’t tell you how many times a day I have to say ,” I see your phone in your hand but no tools! Do your work for the phone company ? Then put it up or go to the house !”
I'm retired law enforcement. Retired back in December 2020. Did my 20 years and got the hell out!
I've been retired going on 3 years. Over 40 years in manufacture mostly in auto and industrial battery and few years for Aluminum foil company. Last 25 years in management positions I don't miss dealing with today's employees. I go to the Y few times a week, play golf twice a week and try to complete honey do list.
I got NBA Live 14 for XBox One. Kyrie is on the cover. I think it plays better than 2K. Oddly enough Kyrie is on the cover of my NBA 2k game as well. 2k19 I think. 2K definitely has better graphics.
Public education, going on my 30th year. Could've already traded in accumulated sick leave to retire, but I still need to work and I like what I do, so until something better comes along...

Retired from teaching P.E. and coaching football and basketball. I still teach Driver Education and understand exactly what Shey is saying about our youth and cell phones. I’ve been retired for 8 years now and boy does time fly now.
On Shelby football thread they were saying pray for smashmouth. I noticed he has only posted once or twice here since the change. Hope he is OK and we hear from him soon.
Nice! We're at similar points in our education careers. I will hit 30 years February 15th. I also have a couple years' worth of sick leave. I always thought I'd use it to retire early, but I learned that in order to get your "career license" meaning you stay certified without CEUs, you have to work the full 30. Now it's kind of a point of pride to go the full 30. I still have a kid in high school to get through college, so I'll probably go another 6 or so.

Major props to you public educators! My wife and I have raised 5 sons, youngest is a Junior at Va Tech. The value of good teachers in grade, middle and high school cannot be overstated! Thanks guys!
I've said this before, but a good customer of mine, Howard Hurt, played basketball for Duke in the late 50's to early 60's. He came by last week and asked if I'd like to go to breakfast with him and a buddy of his, Steve Vacendak, who played at Duke a few years later. This guy was something else. Wish we could have had longer that day to talk.
I asked him what he thought about Coach K. He replied "I hired him." Mr Vacendak also played a role in NC State hiring Valvano. I felt like a kid in a candy store around him.
He also holds a distinction that is a head scratcher. In 66, he was the ACC Player of the Year, and made the ACC tournament team, but did not make 1st team All Conference.
