Again - not talking to you numbnuts.

@AshCatchEm admitted he didn’t watch our games last year. I wanted to know if he was watching games this year.
Don't worry I watched that abortion last night. All the kids may as well quit if they're gonna play like that, minus hyatt.

Hopefully ace doesn't do the smart thing and decommit

Absolutely not.

In my opinion, some people got a bit carried away earlier in the season ("Elite 8", "Lock for double-bye," "RAC is toughest place to play in the universe," "dominant program in Northeast," etc.), but now some are going too far in the other direction.

Rutgers is a good team, and the program is getting better year by year...

I agree. Last night was an awful effort with some puzzling coaching decisions. That said, if we had given the effort we had at Indiana or even Illinois, we win last night.

No doubt, the season is at a crossroads, effort and basketball iq need to improve at both ends. They’ve shown they can do it against better competition than is left on the schedule (even without Mag). I think 5-0 is possible as is 0-5 and anything in between. Two weeks ago, I never thought the last few weeks of the season would be stressful but here we are.

Moods come and go, culture matters in the long run. I’m nervous, but wouldn’t bet against them yet. Caleb’s comments after the game made me feel better…he saw all the crap we saw and I’m guessing, that includes his piece of it.

Go RU!

SantaFe, can i ask again why you only show up when the team is struggling?
Of course you can ask. I was taught by very successful mentors in New York in the early stages of my career that when things are going well anyone can be a star. However when things are going in the opposite direction, if you want to get things turned around you point out your vulnerabilities and only then can you look to improve.. does that make sense.

So do you not want to see this team do well? When things are going well, why stay away from the boards? No one is asking you to be a star, but a fan? Cheering the team? Celebrating their accomplishments?

Doesn't really make sense, in my opinion. But to each his own.

You certainly don't seem to me to be a real fan as you've stayed away all season..and only now show up when we are struggling.

***** the CEO of the pik-eez that can't admit this team has major flaws, as does *****
***** do you lack that much confidence that when you go to a game at the RAC you have to dress up in the your clown show ridiculous outfit to sadly draw attention to yourself instead of just being a normal fan.

Why after the beat down Nebraska gave us at home
We all know a thread has reached the depths of idiocy when @SantaFeScarlet joins in. The fake Rutgers fan who trolls whenever things are not going well and disappears when they are going well.

He idiocy is followed soon after by @AshCatchEm ! And apparently @Salvi's Headband !

Either your mentor is a cheap dime store hooker or you are failing him in this thread.

Miserably.

You literally apologized to the whole board for being wrong on Pike. When the going gets rough, why do you feel the need to condemn the team. Fans are supposed to support them. That’s why many think you are a troll

Prove his comment wrong
Check the standings. Worst team is usually in last place. Also we lost to 2 good teams on the road by single digits. One lousy game against a lesser team doesn’t make you the worst team in league. I rest my case now prove me wrong

Being mentored myself by very successful people and now considered a mentor to also very successful people.
I look at it much different. To look at your vulnerabilities when things are going down, doesn't help you a damn bit- it is when things are going good that you should be looking at your weaknesses and vulnerabilities in order to not have things go in the opposite direction.
While it is correct that if you do get into a downturn, you need to look at your failings or weaknesses rather than what you do good. But the true teaching is to continue to do so even when you are at the top of your game.

This league is very good top to bottom. The only bad team is Minnesota. Nebraska beat Creighton by 10, took Purdue to overtime and whipped Iowa.

Santa Fe posts like the kind of guy who had some moderate success by accident and then retrofitted his life story to give himself credit for it. It's all hilarious business platitudes "responsibility starts at the top" etc etc. Which is fine.. but not exactly congruent with being a message board troll who comes on here to poke at people and post +10000000 on every negative post and call people "*****". If anyone who associates with him in business saw any of this posting they would be so embarrassed.

I believe what you are saying here may be relevant to the coaching staff but has zero to do with being a fan of a team.

Crazy enough I think there's an argument. We just lost by double digits at home to the second to last place team.
Is OP eating crow yet. Saw this guy was saying a lot of dumb shi all around here.

I get part of being a fan is reactionary but will when you morons give pikiell a chance?

We lost the single most important player on our D. Yes, Caleb is the best but Mag was more important and let us get away with a lot. Shocker? We struggled. Bigger shock? We will survive.

Shut up and sit down
