Battle of 2 overrated teams.....don't care who wins because neither team will make any noise come playoff time.
Staunton River was runner up last year and has the same basic team with the addition of the Liberty transfer. You are delusional if you think they won't make any noise come playoff time. I assume this statement is just to elicit a response from Chucksteel and the SR faithful.
Not overrated at all. But are well deserved of their ranking and wins. SR in a close one. Also SR played in State last year and lost to a very good team Blacksburg

Byrd is solid but I think SR will wear them down with their size and time of possession
I think the fact SR throws little neutralized the chance of Byrd making good on some turnovers to score points or get hidden field position. I think both teams know the importance of this game and have circled the date since summer workouts. The weather will be football fantastic. Good luck and health to both teams.
