Beamer says "We are tired". Hell, we fans are tired of him, on his way to producing a losing record in his 5th year here. Maybe it's just me, but I can't stand looking at nor hearing him talk.
Get rid of that joke of a coach (who with that baseball hat on looks like "Beaver Cleaver"). We have a real, professional and competent Athletic Director now, at last. Give him the opportunity to bring in a qualified, proven successful Head Coach. He hired Sonny Dykes at TCU 4 years ago. All Dykes has done is compiled the best overall record of any Big 12 school in the past 4 years.
Let's get on with it. Fire Beaver Beamer ASAP so that we can get a real Head Football Coach in here. Carolina fans deserve no less.

What was Muschamp in his fifth year? Oh yeah, 2-5.
Granted he was 4-8 the year before.
So this year matches Muschamps 4th year, and a bad start next year is the end of Shane?
God only knows. I think the 20-something million dollar buyout Shame has keeps him here for 2026. Not saying that's what I want, but I've been giving money to Carolina since 1993 & feel like I know how this university operates. Our powers-that-be aren't gonna pay a buyout that high. Thanks, Ray! You were as bad of an AD as King Dixon. Should have kept your fat *** in the dugout & been on the Mt. Rushmore of college baseball coaches.
We know what we had after Muschamps 3rd year. Poor performances all year then got hammered in the bowl game. How he got to year five was a travesty.
I know Beamer asked our former players to lobby the Board and Tanner on his behalf. When Beamer is eventually fired, I would say to all our former players: "Thank you for your athletic service to USC. But we now have a competent (has a law degree), professional and proven AD. Please butt out of the search and let him do his job".
I THINK his buyout goes down to $20 million after this season. I believe that's manageable next year. But, I know little and claim less. Here is what I do know: Beamer is a multi-millionaire. He and his family will be fine after his exit.
I was opposed to his huge, first increase. He hadn’t proven sustained winning yet, and NOBODY was coming to steal him away. But Ray thought it was a great idea to bump him to - what was it - $6mill? That was dumb. Now, $8mill is dumberer!
I think Ray wanted validation in his mind that Beamer was a good hire after the screw up hire of Muschamp. Didn't he move to work in the President's Office after leaving the AD job? If so, I am certain that Dr Amiridis is too smart to give him anything really important that he could mess up.
