its called which closed boundary school football team is comparable to this open enrollment team?

We'll kick it off with the home slices over at JCA. I'll list 8 schools and the board votes for the team most on a competitive level with the Hillmen.

I have an inverse thread in mind too so stay tuned.

I see what you did...

Decatur Eisenhower, or Blue Island Eisenhower?

Back in 2003 we had JCA fans tell us their route to the finals (which included a semifinal win over LaSalle-Peru) was comparable to what the teams in 7a and 8a had to go through.

You had 1 jca fan, friendlyfan, say that.

Let's not play that game 140. Because I remember mc fans much more recently say they would never lose in 7a....

For next year's JCA team, I would say the most comparable team is Murphysboro.

If the CCL and ESCC were disbanded and those schools went into a conference with publics, like in the downstate areas, where would each wind up? And no, the CCLs in the City proper would not have to join the Public League. Post worthy?

For the record, I think JCA would go to the SPC; however they might have considered the SWC Blue until recent years.

Loyola's local public school conference is the Central Suburban. I'd be fine with that (minus the crossovers).
