Game has been so good I've been off the boards since Wilson's TD. Take back what I said about Jones he's woken up as a leader today

The coaching staff did an awesome job getting this team ready to play this week.
I like us for next week too. Just saying...
Congrats on a big win today. I never thought duke football would ever be relevant, I wish Kentucky would follow in your footsteps but that's wishful thinking. Our football team is atrocious
What a wonderful and great big ole win today. Went down and came back. Went down again and came back again. Big turnovers. f we could have just showed the composure we had today vs. N.W. and W.F. our season would looked at totally different now. Just a little difference in our composure in those two losses. This gives me hope and confidence that we can win some more games like that this year. Remember that this is a fairly young team. OFC

huge win for the team. solid play across the board. only time i really got mad was the up the middle run calls in fourth. please run the ball outside the tackles once in a while. other than that just loved every moment today.
Huge indeed Surf and thats the only problem I had at all today- the run up the gut on 4th down calls.. Look at what Shawn Wilson can do in open field on kickoffs- pitch him some toss sweeps!
Daniel Jones came of age today, not only throwing well but making better decisions and he did not fumble the ball!! In fact ONLY ONE Duke turnover today-HUGE! Our team is soaring- enjoy it guys, but back to business next wk at home to UVA....

yeah the fourth and one calls up the gut kill me. it is the only play we call. i know it, you know it and the other team knows it. also when we got first on the six yard line and we run three straight up the gut. boring and predictable play calling. my only gripe about the game today. well also the career ending knee injury to devon. edwards. what a great player he has been for us. i guess if you are going to end your stay at duke with an injury then going out with a win at nd is as good a moment as any.
Surf I remember his freshman year...preserving the UNC win by picking off a Marquise Williams pass to give us the Coastal title...and so many great memories...So sorry for him, but what a career at Duke for this Academic All -American..

that would be a first if the refs made bad calls against the holes. poor defense at end for Pitt.The only reason UNC had to do that was because Refs put them in that hole to start with!!
On the radio the other day, Adam Gold and Joe Ovies were talking about this as a rebuilding year for Duke -- and it is -- and they talked themselves up into a prediction that we'd win 4 games. I have a feeling we might have moved our definition of "rebuilding" up a notch or two.
Edwards is a big loss. It's is senior year and a great career he's had a Duke. Let's hope someone steps up and establishes himself and does the job.
hang on now it's not a for sure he's out for the season. Just looked it up and it's not official I hope he can come back!

just reading the article on scout. he has already graduated with a degree in psychology plus a certificate in marketing and managment. he is pursuing a masters in liberal arts and has a 3.6 grad school average.what a great kid

just saw it. Awful sittuation for him. He was a blast to watch at Duke, definitely one of those guys who changed the Duke program and left their mark.
Couldn't agree more. The both of 'em. Ovies has never hid his hostility & skepticism for Mary Willingham & Gold has always down-played unx's fraud. Gold once said they had been punished enough. "Time served" was the phrase he used. Anyway...back on topic....

so they are reporting that duncan is out this game with ankle injury and t bere out for season. two big hits. jela is our up the middle beast runner and bere is our run shutdown lb. ouch!
I just remembered I never gave you grief about the Vols comeback win on Saturday! So glad my Vols broke that losing streak.
Sky these are HUGE LOSSES, especially after Duncan willed us on the ground on his back Saturday....
