It’s the best rivalry trophy (the only actual trophy, IMO) we have. Let’s get it!
I have said this every single week except Mich. I have a feeling we win this one. 7th times the charm.

It's been upgraded from the original version and is still probably a work in progress. I love it and everything it represents. This is why CFB should have rivalry trophies. Totally organic. It will be leaving MN and on it's way to the game for the victor.

Our most frequently played Big Ten rival. Should be a fun game between two universities that represent the entire state at the FBS level.

** Includes 1982 result, which everybody knows was a complete and total robbery, so it should read "NU leads 10-7-0." Unfortunately, the flux capacitor is on the fritz, so we'll have to settle for the official version of the game. I have a call in to Dr. Brown to get things straightened out, however. Plus, this should be a permanent cross-over rivalry, starting just as soon as we're good again.

Thanks for posting this. I, well for now anyway, have found a post without trolls. We want to "Keep" the chair. Hopefully we can. I like this trophy because of its modern organic origin. I also like it because we have historically played each other the most. That, and it keeps the story of faux Pellini alive.
I am hopeful that the University of Minnesota's Regents will continue to support football the way it has recently. If so, we may have an opportunity to make this a good friendly rivalry.
Like most Gopher fans, I am nervous about this game. On the road with a freshman heavy team against a talented and hungry team.
