If he doesnt make the 2 deep at LT.Do you think they should move him back to RT!! Or would you rather see him RS??

Does he have a redshirt available? If he does, then maybe. On the other hand, if he RS and then blows up next year he may be gone anyways. Who knows.

Been eerily quiet about him, not sure what to make of it. Hopefully, he can be a force after a couple games under his belt.

To put your post above in perspective... you would STILL have Meadows and Mosier as well in '17 for depth.
If he doesn't RS then you have Mosier,Meadows, levitt Sr's in 17.
Be nice to somehow break that up!
But then his best position might be RT due to young taking LT.

To put it in even better perspective, you'd still have Leavitt & Young as well in '17 for depth.

I'm curious as to how Young went from pushing to start to Mosier is now the man ? Any ideas ?

They're not mutually exclusive comments. This is not the QB position and is much the same as any other position. On a 'normal' team you have starters and other guys who also play because they are good enough to play. We have hardly ever been a 'normal' team.

Mosier seems to be solidifying his hold on the starting LT position while Young is showing by his play that he deserves some playing time as well. That's pretty much what was said.

And the coaches are praising Mosier. Fans might want to give him a bit of credit or praise, as well.

All the talent in the world cannot provide you with experience. It's one thing to look good in drills and recruiting camps. It's another to line up against SEC DEs. Plus there's the mental aspect of the game with blocking schemes, coverages, etc.

I wasn't excluding Young & Leavitt, my post was in response to having Young/Leavitt as starters in 2017 IF they improve enough to overtake Mosier & Meadows.

Almost everyone back with 4* Drake with a year in the system to replace our one big loss and a 6.1 and a 5.9 at tackles that are over their first year adjustments. Even if we aren't really good this year I think we will be outstanding next year, and if we win some games and get Wills the sky is the limit for our OL. We should still be very good at OG also, but if not Mosier could start there if needed.

Lots of talent AND experience in 17 regardless.

At LT Mosier dominated All-SEC DE Charles Harris in the Missouri game last year, but then followed that up with getting beat on every play by 1st Round draft pick Noah Spence in the next game against EKU. He didn't play the position the rest of the season because Swindel only missed those 2 games.

I was pleasantly surprised by Mosier's play in the Spring Game. He's not going to get over powered and seemed like he could protect the edge better than last season. He's definitely got an NFL body being so big, but still lean. I feel more confident in him than I do Kyle Meadows.
