Livingston was a good enough prospect to receive scholarship offers from NC State, West Virginia, and Kentucky. He won't end up at North Texas State. Mainord is a pretty good recruiter, but not a magician.Don't forget his primary recruiter was Mainord so it'd make sense that he was placed in Texas what with Mainord's Texas ties. Now will be interesting to see where he eventually lands.

Once you enroll, the clock starts ticking...
Regardless, Livingston probably won't end up at Kentucky, When Stoops signed Livingston, the cupboard was bare at offensive tackle. So taking a project with a long body was worth investing the scholarship. Now Stoops and Schlarman have Kyle Meadows, Tate Leavitt, Landon Young. Meadows made a lot of progress last year, and still has 3 more years. Logan Stenberg is a right tackle. Some people believe Luke Fortner may be a right tackle. I have heard the development project with Calvin Taylor is working out better than expected. Then there is Lafayette High School product Jedrick Wills, who could end up at Kentucky. Also Thayer Munford from Cincinnati. So I don't see why Stoops would spend a scholarship again on Livingston with less than 4 years of eligibility.Livingston was considered a good long term OL prospect coming out of HS but weighed less than 250. At 6'7" he needed to grow into his body. I couldn't find him on Navarro's '15 roster, wonder if he RSed or is starting his NCAA clock with this spring's semester?

No 1 knows which offensive line Fortner will play. Recruiting gurus rate him as a center, but some feel he can play any position on the offensive line. Doubt he plays center at Kentucky because of the presence of Jackson and Stallings. Have seen a couple of predictions he could end up as a tackle. I don't presume to know which position he will play. Most important thing is that he appears to be 1 of the better offensive linemen Vince Marrow has lured out of Ohio. Would like to see Munford at Kentucky.Agreed. BTW, Meadows has 2 years left. Think Fortner will be an OG but regardless UK's in much better shape than a couple of years ago.
