12 US cities breaking homicide records including Louisville and Austin.

Louisville is part of the UNs “Strong Cities Network” for what it’s worth

I believe that’s about 10 US cities that dedicated themselves to global governance/UN loyal type management

They probably have a webpage that glorifies themselves even more

Just an interesting fact that many aren’t aware of -

Minneapolis, Atlanta, LA - i believe they’re all in there as well ...makes you wonder what the upside of the STRONG CITIES NETWORK is

FWIW

I mean normally violent criminals commit violent crimes....the odds of that ever changing are non existent. You will not stop a violent criminal from committing violent crimes...they are violent criminals after all.

You can damn sure stop him from repeatedly hurting people in the free world.

Couple of questions before I respond: Where do you live, and tell me what you think bail reform means?

By the way, per my previous post, besides stating that towns run by liberal Democrats are murder capitals, tell me specifically what you or a strong, Republican mayor in Lexington or any other major city would do, not in general, tell me what you or your hypothetical mayor of Lexington would do first day on the job to first stop, then solve all these murders? I have talked to Chief Weathers about this topic, and know Mayor Gorton personally, I promise to pass on your suggestions.

-Start with advising every citizen without a felony record, without a history of drug possession, and/or without a pattern of domestic assaults to get firearms training and carry.

-Go to neighborhood churches and/or find veterans and recruit those of humble and moral reputation that are trained and comfortable with carrying to form neighborhood militias able to respond with force to violent crime in progress. If they are willing but not trained, then train them. Make property crimes violent crimes- burglary, theft, and destruction of property.

-Make trespassing laws more strict instead of less. Make the assumption of trespassing standard if someone is on personal and non-business property without being invited and without signs being posted.

-Reintroduce formalities and some rules of etiquette so people know their boundaries and what they are and are not allowed to do in public around complete strangers.

-Let security guards open carry on the job but only with military level background tests, training, and psych evals.

-Enforce rules against small crimes and violations so that people don't think about breaking the rules so much.

-Get panhandlers off the city streets by making it a felony. There are places for people to go for food and shelter.

-Arrest and quickly prosecute gov officials who break the law, removing them from office and confiscating any property gained by them or their families in breaking laws, and setting an example for everyone. Such crimes would include introducing legislation that violates constitutional protections and principles, such as laws that allow them to do things that are illegal for the rest of the people, AND refusing to act to protect the rights, property, and lives of the citizens of this republic.

These are the areas/foundation I would start with

Yep. Can't have a strong world government unless you have a "weakened United States."

We need to forego this "death row" crap. When a conviction meets certain criteria, they need to have a review process (with a separate jury in cases barely meeting the criteria) to consider whether an appeal or further evidence is likely to overturn a verdict. If it is not, give the convicted a 15-30 day period to get their affairs in order from jail before they are executed.

Likewise, we need to be immediately removing from office, removing the license of (and potentially executing in the case of a violent crime) officials that withhold evidence in any trial. Also need to make a provision for being able to quickly remove any official that shows partiality in their actions as an official towards (for or against) any party in a dispute, based on that party's income, genetics, religion, or personal dealings.

We also need to remove immunity deals as well as diplomatic immunity for foreign officials visiting this country. They can either follow our rules, which are not difficult to follow, or they shouldn't travel here.

Why are you dragging Kamala Harris into this?

I can see that my New Years Resolution to stay clear of social media political discussion with strangers, or almost any discussion on this General Discussion Board was a solid choice.

I'm guessing there are a lot of people with dirty hands, or that know and/or work with people with them, that wouldn't want to touch this topic. That's how the system if corruption stays in place and hurts the innocent.

We vote republican across the state and the (former) senate majority leader continuously pumps opioids into EKY so should they stop voting Republican? Blaming a political party for everyone’s issues is overplayed.
We've had 2 pub governors in my lifetime. If you look at the hiring power of that many dems at that position... Your point makes no sense.
