Interesting. Says a lot about the upperclassmen we have if they aren't giving everything they have to improve.
And says a whole lot more about the player development ability of these coaches (or lack thereof). These coaches seem to be pretty woeful thus far when it comes to player development, yes I know there's exceptions here and there, but as a whole it's been real bad.

Coaches can't interact with players right now
In what way is this relevant to the matter about kash Daniel potentially having to get in an upperclassmens face over work ethic? im pretty sure the upperclassmen has been coached at somepoint while being here. And if he has bad preseason workout habits, that might say a lot as far as the overall team work ethic goes. What if it's more than this guy what if half the upperclassmen are half a.ssing the workouts? Could be a very bad sign.

AND it could be one person.

But don't change your stripes now, doom and gloom is always the best policy, that way you are never disappointed.

Still holds the title for worst poster on the board.

You have great fun by intentionally stirring the fan base up. Really pretty amusing when one realizes what you are doing.

Say what you will. Pumping sunshine will only take you so far before you're knocked off you're high horse. If there's one thing being a lifetime UK football fan should teach you, it's not to get your hopes up too early. Yet many seem to prematurely act as if stoops has already brought us to relevance without really winning anything or beating anyone decent (besides USC couple years ago they went 7-6). That's it though. I'm pretty sure that's stoops only win vs a .500+ D1 team since being here. We kept hearing about Erik Korems state of the art strength and conditioning program, yet we didn't look like a team that was in better shape than a lot of teams, is it Erik Korems s&c program. Or are the players just not taking it seriously enough to show the results that the program was supposed to show? I think it's a damn good question to be honest. I know you love you some stoops and think he's just on top of everything and you probably are angered by those who don't think he's the greatest thing since sliced bread but not me no sir not yet at least. Been a fan too long to prematurely get my hopes up on a coach that couldn't look anymore inept and lost during games..

Good for him. There are some knuckleheads on this roster and its time they grow up and put in the work needed to live up to their hype or get out of the way and let the guys who are at UK for the right reasons and want to win to take their spot and move on.

My biggest fear about our recruits, them getting sucked down by the beaten down players already here. Remember the Pat Towles story he told about when he first arrived, he ran all-out in a workout sprint and dusted the entire team. Left him wondering "WTF, I shouldnt be the fastest dude here?", then an upper classmen came over and chuckled, "you'll learn".

All the guys in the previous recruiting classes thought they would be different, thought they would change the losing ways at UK, thought they would bring culture change. But then they get assimilated like the Borg into accepting losing that permeates the media & the fanbase. Rich Brooks said it 13 years ago, how do you change UK football, bring in enough guys who don't think UK just has to lose to Florida, Tennessee, Georgia. Eventually he somewhat did it.

Unfortunately we are not quite there IMO, not enough Woodyards & Burtons & Tammes & McClintons & Woodsons on the roster. But with Daniels & others in this class & from last year hopefully we are on the road that way.

-being a whiny turd/bitching all the time doesnt make you a realist...it makes you a miserable person.

-nobody (fan) has *any* control over the teams they are fans of. Being a fan of a good team doesnt make you a better person. If you are relying on receiving happiness/worth from the actions/results of other folks (18-22 yo kids) you will be disappointed often.

-spectator sports are a diversion/pass time. Not to be taken *too* seriously. Relax. You're welcome.

I'm not sold on Stoops, but posters like you pollute these boards and make it impossible to have honest debate due to your CONSTANT twisting of all threads into a slam on the staff. It's ridiculous.

based on y'alls responses I'm tempted to click the "Show Ignored Content"....but nah, not gonna do it

whoever it is I ignored them for a reason!
And I am tempted to use the ignore button for the first time for that same person everyone else is ignoring. What an idiot he is.

That Kash Daniel has already gotten in an upperclassmans face about shirking on his workout regimen . Sounds like we are getting a much needed attitude adjustment .

Vince Vaughn needs to step it up.

I did, and I quickly remembered why I had them on Ignore. A few minutes of my life I won't get back lol.

All I keep hearing is how much of an idiot I am for not being all in with stoops? I'm not exactly hearing logical points. Can't you at least hit me with the "the recruiting is at unprecedented levels under stoops which we all know equals guaranteed success" or something along those lines? It would be a little more respectable if you could at least try and prove my points wrong, I just feel like people are lost on this board, they love stoops so much so when people say something not pro stoops then it's zero logic because they can't think of much outside of recruiting to say about him and usually it's just name calling to prove points. It's quite funny.

I did. One of them is Andrel. No surprise there. That is why I have him on ignore.
Lol because you can't stand seeing someone not pro stoops. If someone isn't all in with stoops people go as far as blocking because they can't stand to see someone not all in with the head coach. Sorry I'm blunt about how inept of an in game head coach he is? I get great humor from this.

As far as the thread goes though, love Kash Daniel, he's one of those players that doesn't need coaching, doesn't need anyone to give him any extra drive or motivation to get better, if we had a team full of Kash Daniels we would be a national title contender in 2 years.

Didn't we just go through a period of conflict between classes?

If the same issues keep occurring than the coaches need to address the situation.

So they are woeful in player development, huh? Bud Dupree, Za'Darius Smith, Melvin Johnson, Farrington Huguenin, Josh Forrest, Khalid Henderson, Chris Westry, JD Harmon, Garrett Johnson, Boom Williams, Jon Toth, Ramsey Meyers all overachieving. Geniuses like you don't understand this. All but 9 of the active Stoops signees on Stoops' 2015 roster were still freshmen and sophomores. I wasn't any happier with our November performance than anyone else, but I am sure as hell going to give Stoops a realistic chance. Especially since he just signed the best class I can ever remember here.

fairly regular occurrence in team sports...

guys skip, find short cuts...and then someone calls them out...that's part of it...

Kash is going to go through his learning curve once the pads come on...he may not skip reps...but there will be a time, multiple times probably when somebody has got to correct him...

Heres the question. Did the player need a Mountains to English translation?

Love me some Kash Daniel. Really looking forward to seeing him on the field but that boy is CoUnTrY and its awesome.

Kash wants to win. This class has some fierce competitors I think we have enough winners that the losers don't have very many allies. Pretty telling what Stoops thought of Korem strength building when he said the players are not used to how hard they have to go now.
