I would suspect there are some opt-outs among those. I'm old enough to remember when injured people would continue playing on game day with finger splints and taped up ankles.

We only had 11 in our last National Championship year and only 9 really played. Potential injuries are an issue, but the positive side of this will be everybody plays and roles will be clearly defined.

I'll wait on LSU until they really play somebody. Mistakes don't show up until you play someone that can challenge you. Same for us. Haven't been challenged yet. Like what I see. Okot is big and strong. Has to avoid foul trouble.

Most teams usually only carry 13 at most. Geno is notorious for only running an 8 player rotation.
John Wooden did the same thing, and they are the two most dominant coaches in history. People with good rosters who give all their minutes to a pool of their seven or eight top players crush people. Of course, the portal makes that more dicey, but it doesn't mean you can't have a tight rotation. It means is that the end of your bench is going to change every year.
