I wonder when these morons will realize that much of these price hikes are due to the large increase in minimum wages across the country, with many places doubling it?

You can't double the most expensive operating cost of a business and expect prices not to spike. Fast food, grocery stores, convenience stores and many restaurants all rely on minimum wage workers and just passed that expense onto us. Go to Wendys/Chik-Fil-A with a family of 4 and you will spend nearly $60 for lunch.

The irony is those new minimum wages don't help the workers all that much because they are paying the higher prices too.

It hurts those who have earned more money by getting educated or trained . I used to stop and get a burger on my way home from out of town now I pack a extra sammich and eat it .
