oops, I mean lock him up. Prosecute Flynn to the fullest. Question is, why do you think Flynn lied? There is only one clear answer. Waiting patiently until that is also announced which will take some more time.

I guess all you fools that have been repeating your leaders (Trump, Hannity, Rush, etc) about no evidence will just find a new way to deny and deflect. Morons.

I’m disappointed by this news actually. Only way Mueller gets the big one, is if he catches some really good bait fish. I thought Flynn would have flipped, and this means surely he hasn’t.

I don’t think Kushner, Page, or Sessions will flip, so this seems like bad news to me. Maybe I’m wrong. Maybe this is Mueller ratcheting up the pressure to apply to the right guy? Not sure what to think.

But.....I’m almost sure there was a reason for Flynn to lie.

I'm going to be honest, there is NO WAY IN HELL this nation will impeach Trump. Democrats, Republicans, doesn't matter. He could be guilty as Hell, but it won't matter. The discrediting of the FBI, CIA, news media, etc. etc. etc., has all but exempted him from any punishment. Nobody that supports Trump would believe any evidence.......simply citing "fake news".........

Or, he took a deal and is "taking one for the team"..........Trump isn't getting impeached, let's just face that fact. He's our president for 3 more years.......at that time we can get back to normal business.

Or, he’ll take the conviction, get no jail time or minimal jail time, and be pardoned after the fact. Cuz we all know that even true criminals rarely receive the max punishment and someone with his record of service to our country over something like lying to the FBI will see a maximum of 6 months in jail or even a suspended sentencing.

Disappointed that we're not going to be charging the President of the United States with a crime? Bad news because you want Trump brought down or because you think Trump did indeed work with the Russians on stealing the election?

This news isn't surprising. Think about how many people could be charged with lying to the FBI. Mueller needs something to show for his work, this is the type of stuff he can expect to get.

I guess we'll see. Either Flynn flipped or this was a waste of time.

And PS - I don't think he flipped on POTUS. I think Jared and Junior would be more likely.

They're not going to flip over just lying to FBI.

At the end of the day, the notion that Trump and his people, a man that so many on the left like painting as a buffoon, actively worked with the Russian government to undermine the election and steal it from Hillary is about as believable as the Flat Earth theory.

Did some of these people lie about their associations and dealings, I'd bet they have, but I think that's about all it's going to be.

The word prior to today was that he was looking to protect his son so maybe that is why he plead. Could be a lot more than that.

My post was in response to someone saying "Flynn isn't going to flip for simply lying to the FBI." No where in my post did I pretend to prognosticate this outcome. So your deflection failed. Now answer my question.

Of course. I believe he worked with Russia in a coordinated effort. I’d take my ball and go home if I could, but he’s got my damn ball. I’d cry, but nobody cares.

I have no proof that he worked in a coordinated effort with a government I don’t trust, but I told the teacher on him. So.....we will see if he gets in trouble or not.

Woah, still not collusion. The allegations that have been made is that Trump worked with Russia to win the election. Post-election/transition is not the topic, don't muddy the waters.

And I am certain, don't think, that Hillary broke critical national security law, and destroyed evidence. I'm certain many in the FBI and former administration worked to cover it up. I'm certain some/many of those same actors are still present. I'm certain that many in Congress think they are also above the law, with their hush slush fund, and how they've operated it. I'm certain that they desire to keep that going.

Burn it all down. Not just part.
