It is certainly news in the Star-Telegram . now a liberal outlet may not because they certainly don't want to be seen as doing anything that might give trump some positive views.

Where in the hell do you come up with this **** sometimes? A 60% decrease based on what??? That it's a piece of f'n **** /garbage / million if not billion dollar Boondoggle? All in the name of Ft. Worth?!? Oh boy you can lay it on right thick ...until anyone with a modicum of common sense realizes the 9 nations that bought into this **** pile were taken to the cleaners....60% 'reduction'??? for an F'n tin can that has yet to arrive after years and years. I'd say lmfao however...I'm not amused... go on...tell me how it's gonna be 'fixed'! Feel free to supply the original cost 'estimate' followed up by the latest and greatest 60% reduction in F'ING DETAIL! What a load of ****....

Trump was right in his initial thoughts...and now? Looks like an f'n politician trying to pander with numbers to me...we will and are taking 18 of the Boeing for the time being...millions and millions in the hole already.

2,300 F-35s... that is how many the US wants...

The Fort Worth plant employs 14,000 workers, with about 8,800 working on the F-35. Hiring of additional workers will begin in late 2017, speed up in 2018 and stretch out through 2020, said Lockheed spokesman Ken Ross. Last year, the company built about 50 F-35s and current plans call for production to increase to about 160 a year by 2019.

It will take OVER 10 years to build that many, closer to 15 years... and IMO they will build closer to 3,000 of these if not more.

The F-35 program, at $379 billion, is the most expensive weapon system in Pentagon history. Lockheed Martin has been working to reduce the cost of the F-35 to about $85 million by the 2019-2020 timeframe.

Keep going...tell me more about how I'm apparently /supposed to get my money back! I've seen this movie before....cost over runs through the f'n roof! How well you know this file 82? I've been emailing my member of Parliament for years...his answer is so eerily familiar to yours...Jobs jobs jobs...yet my response is consistently results results results? To NO avail! It is BS at this point!

Many of those planes will also be serviced right here in Georgia at Dobbins AFB in Marietta, where local service technicians & parts suppliers will also benefit from ongoing maintenance & repairs.

Very good news indeed.
