Why do you think that? Where have you heard it?
I think his NIL price will be too high.
We can’t afford a 3-4 Million QB with all the holes we need to fill and the few players we need to retain.
Yeah I don't know about this guy for $3-$4 million. I have not seen him play. I know the team is terrible but how does he look? He has not been able to get them a B10 win but maybe he looks incredible. I would want to evaluate all the options first before deciding on this guy.

A lot of buzz out there, take a gander and/or pay for premium info.

No doubt a lot of holes to fill, but the biggest is the QB position - and the most important. It's been estimated that PSU was paying Allar 3-4 million in his Jr and Sr seasons. That's the going rate for a high-end QB these days. If you want to win, it starts at QB.
I get that just wondering if he is the best option. That is an expensive investment and we can't afford to screw it up.

All that money wasted on the '25 team! To lose to a coachless UCLA team. Wow, just wow.

I've looked at the MD boards and am on the pay site so I saw Sean's article. It was a nice break down of players and their chances with PSU I just didn't read it in the same positive light you did.
Plus I am very concerned about the money we actually have to spend, not the money Pat bragged about in the Lockerroom.

Yea I don't trust many of those "estimates" either. They were flat our wrong about Clifford a few years ago.

I've seen him play a few times, this season, and well the team is not good so its hard to get a good handle on him.
But if you ask me he's not worth 3-4 Million.

I mean we are paying a GM what a million a year to be all over these things so hopefully he is. But this is the same guy who whiffed on a bunch of guys on the roster now so I don't have the highest confidence level we will get this right.

+1. I kind of feel the same about their "talent" evaluation. I mean if Buhr was the MVP of camp.

If Allar was making $3-$4 M before the playoff run, a top 10 qb in 2027 is going to be $5-7m. Don’t know if Washington is that, but until there are controls, NIl inflation is high

If reports are true and I have some questions about them the QB for Miami makes between 6-7 Million.

I would anticipate that Washington does get an offer but being in this area, I’m not hearing that we are one of his top choices.
I would not be surprised if he looks to other schools in this conference, specifically a green one out on the West Coast. Mainly what I hear is he’s looking to go south.
