I absolutely have relished posting on other teams' boards. There is some ego involved for those game enough to try it. First of all, don't think for a minute you are not representing our team and University. Because nearly everyone feels so reluctant to visit these boards, you end up being a rare enough sight. Therefore, attention out the butt will be paid to every syllable you whistle, no matter where you post. On one hand it is a great opportunity to show your appreciation - or curiosity - for their teams, on the other, done poorly, we all suffer because humans these days are hyper critical. The other thing is this: prepare to be ignored, lol. People's habit's don't much include being classy to opponents. If you cannot engage them in positive mutuality - and make that clear!! - then chances are you'd be best off not bothering.
The most direct approach to the human heart requires humility. And the human heart is what we all need most. Shared, it can be a wonderfully productive experience. Even opponents and rivals know the Math: Pleasure shared is pleasure doubled. A little praise goes a long dam way.
