If Trump doesn't resign first he'll probably get beat in the primary.

As if Kanye West knows anything about politics. Trump’s chances of a second term hinges entirely on who he runs against.

They say these things like it's fact, but in reality, only in their heads.

Trump will face a primary against at least one quality candidate. At 40% approval somebody will that the chance. The low point in a Presidents first term approvals usually hits around the 2.5-3 year mark. If that holds here and his approval is more like 35% at that point then it is a certainty. You even have a lot of sitting Republican congressmen who won't say that they plan to support him. That is striking. He would probably win that primary, but serious primaries for sitting presidents are not usually positive signs.

Trump won't run again.

He'll leave on a high note and claim he's accomplished so much that he's got nothing left to prove and that America is Great Again.

Did we not learn from 2016? He’ll run again, and he’ll likely win if the economy is doing what it’s doing.

Or it's rigged.
He’ll just collude with China this time around. Probably will cause Iran to overthrow their regime and begin a true democracy. We’ll be doomed. Mueller will be investigating Tylenol consumption prescribed by Ronnie Jackson at that point though.

The latest article I read has the wind blowing for the following on the Dem Platform:
1. Living Wage of $1000 for all Americans
2. Free tuition
3. Reparations (I can’t believe this is real)
4. Mandatory minimum wage of $15 and mandatory benefits for all employees

Why don’t you all save the rest of us some time and just go and directly buy votes? Hahaha good lord.

Can you or someone else on the Left explain something to me?

Okay we're about one and a half years removed from an election in which approximately 63% of the voters put him in office.

So how is it that of that 63% nearly half of them are now upset that they voted for him?

What has he not done for those who voted for him that they now think he needs to be removed from office?

Any one?

I'm just asking about the Trump supporters. We already know roughly half the country hates his guts. So if he has only 40% support, didn't roughly 20% of his support vanish inside of a year and a half?

According to the "polls" he has only 40% approval. I'm assuming those polled were registered voters? So what'd he do or not do to piss off roughly 20% of the folks who voted for him just a year and a half ago?

He didn’t get 60% of the vote. He didn’t even get 50% of the vote. He got about 47%.

Well....what's the 7% who voted for him and are now gone pissed off about? Or are these polls just so much caca?

If only one person ran against Trump in the primaries in 2020 then he might lose but if a bunch do then they'll split the anti-Trump vote and Trump will win, which is what happened in 2016. There were what, like 16 or so other people running at one point? I bet several of those people could have beaten Trump in a one-on-one race.

The logic is sound, but there is no guarantee that people would have supported Jeb, Ted, or Marco instead of Trump.
