Regarding #1, disagreement noted. I will tell you the same thing I tell zipp when we disagree: you'll be a lot happier when you finally realize that I'm right....

Regarding #2, only the fan of a jealous rival would think that a team ranked #19 in the preseason has no shot at finishing 15 spots better than that. Our place in college football is exactly what we have earned and we are exactly where we belong.

Regarding #3, you sound like a UofL basketball fan, pointing out Calipari's past transgressions at Memphis and UMass and hoping that UK gets caught doing something wrong on his watch. I can tell you from my own experience that not everyone on at UofL who disagrees with the party line is blacklisted, because if they were, I wouldn't still be able to post on CardinalSports.com. I quite often disagree with other UofL posters over there - just a couple of weeks ago I got into it with Jack Coffee (the owner of CardinalSports.com) about who deserved the blame for the poor performance of our wide receivers last year.

The moral high ground is a sad and lonely place when you aren't also winning games, as many of my fellow UofL basketball fans will tell you. (Yes, I realize the irony in that statement). I will leave you with a genuine wish - that UK football wins a few more than predicted this year, so that the moral high ground also includes a Christmas football game for the Wildcats.

Cool. Appreciate the well wishes. Regarding #2, I think it's a bit petty to assume that someone who doesn't like the way that your school does business is "just jealous", but you're entitled to your opinion.

Regarding #3, I'm not referring to past transgressions, I'm referring to a lot of what is currently happening at your school each and every year for the last few years. Obviously, I can't "prove" that everyone who disagrees with the party line is blacklisted (most absolutes are not true), but I have seen more than a few examples where anyone who disagrees with the party line is blasted, blacklisted, or both.

Best of luck, we'll agree to disagree on most of these items.

Louisville, after hanging about 100 tonight will lose twice. I see them LOSING at least one of three (F$U, Clemson, and Houston), but WINNING at least one of those. Injuries are a thing that can screw things up. Charlotte is horrendous, though.

That 2006 Rutgers team was ranked 12th, at their place, but it's true we should not have lost that one. The Cards are going to be very good this year, and have a lot more than Lamar Jackson, but it is a big stretch to think they will make the playoff. Fans be fans. There is a lot of that going on right now....
a big hit will end Lamont Jackson in a hurry..then Loserville has no back up..FSU and Clemson will play with them Pimptrino won't be running up the score those games

The SEC is the strongest conference, but playing the SEC east schedule isn't any tougher than any other P5 schedule. The SEC west teams do have an insane schedule though.
the last 3 years... true. over the last 20 years.... false. ul played decades of football with 7 wins guaranteed if they had 22 live players. the myth that ul plays anyone anywhere is bull. the kstate teams ul played were a shell of the 90's era teams, fsu that year was a 5 loss team, bama as said above was horrible that year.

it is working for you guys though. it's like the nerdy guy in hs that keeps telling girls how cool he is and they laugh but then one goes out with him and then another. pretty soon he's dating a bunch of hotties and all the cool jock types are wondering how in the hell this nerdy kid is pulling like this. sorry thats my first year psych/"cant buy me love" off the wall comparison. but..... perception is reality and while i dont believe ul is anywhere near a top 10 team you have enough people putting that out there that if you win the fsu game you will be just like UK after we beat #1 lsu.

When you compare Cal's past with BP's you sound like a UL fan that is not as objective as he claims. You don't have to find the high ground to realize that.

UL fans who disagree on their sites are given rope. UK fans are banned. Just a fact. No claim to moral high ground.

I think one of the retrospective toughest things about UK last year is the reality that in twenty years none of the teams on your schedule are going to look back on their 2015 campaigns with any real fondness. Your schedule had three really bad football teams from the SEC East in South Carolina, Mizzou and Vandy, included a clearly down SEC West squad in Auburn that we both would have liked to have had again and a Florida that probably overachieved to get the record they had; like Florida, Tennessee is limping back up to a standard comparable to ten years ago while certainly not at the standard they were twenty years ago. Georgia was a little down by their standard last year. When it's all said and done you missed the top Three in the SEC West and played Auburn and MS State instead.

As meat grinders go in the fables of life in the SEC for UK, last year wasn't one.

UL would have struggled with or even lost to Vandy last year. Their offense was really bad. Their defense would have been one of the better in the ACC.

But, I don't disagree. And, I say that as to our schedule, as a whole, not just the SEC part. None of the teams we played were better than just good (with the exception of UGA). The Gators, when they beat us, were not flashy but were really good, but they lost key parts. Auburn sucked but beat both UL and UK. UGA was probably the best team we played. UT was a really bad matchup for us and had potential to be the best team on our schedule but did not play that way consistently.

It's hard to compare different matchups, but for the sake of argument -

Texas A&M beat Vandy 25 to nothing at Vandy. Then Louisville beat Texas A & M. Lamar threw for 227 yards and two TDs, and also ran for 226 yards and 2 TDs. UK lost at Vandy, but lost to UofL at home by a wider margin. I'm not sure where you are coming up with your logic. UofL did struggle early in the season, but also had one of the youngest teams (starters) in the power 5 conferences.

You are not serious. Sit TAMU's first and second string QBs and see how Vandy does.

TAMU beats UL with its starting QB.
