Not really. 1st half was good, 2nd half was like two totally different teams. It was a test of which team could suck more, and NU was eager to accept.
It wasn’t that bad in the second half. Nebraska answered Iowa and kept them in the mirror. Iowa couldn’t take the lead until Nebraska was tired out. When they did, Nebraska folded a bit. It was a fantastic game with multiple ties and just one lead change.
Could you imagine spending more time on an opposing teams forum than your own, and then trying to brag about any victory? Yea me neither lol, that would be weird…
I have no issue with Iowa, I have issues with the poor sportsman ship, stop by win or lose, show some sportsman ship and move along…
Iowa has had a great time vs the Huskers in all sports for a while now, and congrats to your teams for that. But I mean there’s no sense in coming over to a board acting like a douche canoe just because you can…
ultimately this has been a great season for both teams, both making it to the sweet 16, for Nebraska it’s their first ever, for Iowa it’s the first time in 20 years… Unfortunately one teams season had to end and it was out Huskers, it sucks but it was a good game… Enjoy your run Iowa, it’s been a good tourney for you so far, and good luck moving forward… now show some humility because you never know when or how your season may end.

And you wonder why Husker fans hate Iowa so much. You keep getting fed this stuff as if it portrays where each athletic department currently stands. Would 100% of Iowa fans trade for Nebraska’s 1970-2001? Yep! But it’s 2026. Time to stop wearing 56-25 years ago as a medal on your neck when you lose to an athletic department you view as inferior.
They weren’t tired out they ended up settling for perimeter shots instead of attacking the basket and we continued to help off the shooters and the herkys made us pay.
They both looked like garbage. NU had 22 points until PS hit the garbage time 3. 22, and that wasn’t because Iowa locked it down. And Iowa barely drew iron on like 5 or 6 of their open 3’s. They were laughably bad. Iowa plays like that next game and they lose by 20. They just so happened to have NU forget how to run an offensive set.
Case in point. Coping mechanism even though Iowa is a blue blood in MEN’s wrestling.
Well I have witnessed All the National Championships and you can take that away from me or anyone else who has witnessed them.
