Could watch this over and over. Very special season and group of young men. One of my favorite "teams" of all time.
Thanks for the thread. I never get tired of watching Marshall's 3. I think the writing was on the wall from that point. So much despair and doubt about this team from Semi's transfer at mid-season and the dismissal of Sheed it would have been easy for the most die hard of Duke fans to give up and we had it here but the team never gave up. Grayson rose up and became a force. Quinn was one of the best leaders ever and the other three freshman weren't freshman any longer. Team effort all the way and any fool that thinks that Duke got all the breaks against Wisc. is just simply that ... a fool. Wisc. was grabbing and holding constantly. What a season. OFC
You are certainly welcome! It never gets old, such an emotional finish! You could tell they were exhausted from the long run with such a short roster, but they hung in there. Cook will go down as one of my favorite Dukies of all time!
Just honestly a team that fit of together perfectly both on and off the court. It was obvious how close of a bond these guys shared that season which made watching them win the championship even more enjoyable.

The beginning of the video reminds me of how much I would like to play Mercer and Lehigh again and just let em know who is really in charge! Lol!
Absolutely unique chemistry with this group of young men, wish I could capture in words just what "it" was that brought them together the way they did. The chemistry they had together, the way they gelled, and the way they rose from adversity as a team are probably my 3 favorite traits of this team. Outside of coaching I think the leadership of Quinn was the biggest factor.
