up 187 today. Up 500 points this year. Approaching all time highs! Hopefully whoever wins the Presidency will do as good a job as BO with the economy. Imagine had he not inherited a mess!

I know right? It's like there really isn't even a $20 trillion dollar debt that we'll never recover from.

I am impressed that there are folks out there who think the Dow is affected by a president.

Oh, so he really hasn't doubled our debt from $10 to $20 trillion? He hasn't been responsible for more debt than all past presidents combined?

There is a DL Hughley credit report joke in there somewhere, I can feel it.

I love the pretty charts that give ZERO context.

Sure.... SS, Medicare and Medicaid spending haven't ballooned the past 8 years..... sure. [eyeroll]

That's what happens when more and more people get to that age. The problem, we don't hae enough people pulling the wagon. Instead of 63% working we need 70-75% working. It just isn't going to happen.

Tell that to the people who can't get more than part time employment thanks to ACA. It actually doesn't make any sense. The economy is growing at the slowest rate ever.

Oh and make sure to put the laughing man emoji after your reply because I cannot adequately mock you without you seeing a laughing man literally laugh at the stupid things you post.

I have no idea what that has to do with the stock market comparable to 5 years ago or 20 years ago.

I'm sure you don't. Dumb dave wanting to claim Obama kills certain industries on one hand and saying the president has no effect on the Dow on the other hand. [laughing]

Imagine how much more clever and hilarious that reply would be if instead of making me look dumb, it didn't scream "this guy has no clue how the stock market works". Its not a zero some game countrytard. Bankrupting coal didn't kill the energy industry, it just picked a loser and awarded a new winner. This finance lesson is free. Once again, the laughing man is laughing at you.
