I’m to old to be getting mad over a football game
Yeah I know what you mean. It used to take me a week to get over lose. I learned I can’t control what 22 young men do on any given Saturday. What I hat is the coaches still get there big payday. The fans who paid to watch such a game,
I will be 71 next Sunday, the 15th, and I still hate a loss as I did when I was 11 years old......1957. Pisses me off still.
I'm soon to be 69 and have had friends and family members pass away in recent years.
I still follow OU football and Yankees baseball but my real happiness in life no longer hinges on if they win or lose. My priorities are much different now than they were even ten years ago.
It seems to me now that I put way too much importance on sports in my life. Wish I had this mindset when I was young. It's actually liberating.

Yeah, I guess it is the way to go, but it took my brother's death two years ago to make me refocus on things and changing priorities.

I try to put things in perspective but hard sometimes. In the end we will do it all again next year I hate for the coaches to make all that money for a poorly coached game
