It's pretty much the same. As is the product on the field. They added a round about on alumni and a few press boxes. Whoopty doo.

enjoy your win, this will probably be the easiest game you folks have ever had here as we usually play Carolina tough in Lexington. You'll see the smallest home crowd you've ever seen here and the worst defense in UK history.

i expect good game, think Ky will respond defensively coming off sat. if your qb johnson has anything going for him like he did sat watch out! i feel sure he is salivating watching film of our game vs ecu...we gave up 400 yrs in the air...a receiver was one catch away from tying a ncaa record.

You came to the wrong place if you wanted any sort of optimism about your visit. This forum is a wasteland of negativity (putting it nicely) filled with people looking to "one-up" the last person's *****-session about why Stoops/MB suck or how anyone who likes basketball a slither as much as they like football is a moron.

Regardless, I'll be at the game, cheering along and trying to have the best time I can. We all know the team has issues, so if you come in knowing the D will probably suck and just enjoy the day, I think you'll enjoy things as well. Commonwealth is a pretty stadium and the weather looks to be great come kick-off.

The new stadium feels a lot more spacious than before. Lots of room to spread out. Even take a nap if you want.

The renovated stadium and new football training center are beautiful - the game currently being played inside the stadium, not so much...
I believe the Cooper Drive tailgating area is first-come, first serve. As long as the weather is nice (it's supposed to be), there will be tons more people tailgating than actually go into the game so you'll need to stake your claim to a spot on Cooper as early as possible. However, given the current mood around UK football, you should be able to buy a parking pass from one of the "needs tickets" guys at a reasonable price. All of the parking pass required lots are nice and w/in easy walking distance of the stadium.

thanks for the info, had found Cooper Dr on map, but couldn't locate the lot/ position on map...i'm w/ a Jim Beam tailgater & typically we usually like to park 4-5 hrs before kickoff.....on last trip we parked in back yard of students who were renting a house, it was close.....

Also, some of the houses near the stadium will sell you a parking spots on their lawns for $10 to $20 bucks, but this becoming rarer as the value of the houses near the stadium has skyrocketed in recent years and fewer college students live there.

thanks for the additional Cooper Dr info (was looking 4 a lot , we use to have same down here, early birds could park 50 yards from stadium.....and on our last UK trip the students even had us in their place to tailgate! ....but, felt like as being older we were preventing the young-ens from letting it loose
