Looking for recommendations. Anyone ever stayed at the Sea Colony in Bethany Beach?

Looking to take our first real vacation in a few years. If we’re going seaside, we usually go north to Maine. Looking to change it up for someplace new. My wife remembers going there awhile ago and looking online, the STR’s seem pretty decent and fairly reasonable.

stayed there many moons ago (late 70's). beach was very nice, the condo was a penthouse very nice as well. Pretty good area, iirc it was close enough to go to fagers island and or Dewey beach for drinks etc

In-laws have a place not far from there in the gulls nest community. Private beach and generally from what I’ve seen it’s families that rent those kind of places.

you’ll need to drive a few miles to get to some other attractions, but dewey and Rehobeth are not that far as well.

A golf buddy of mine owns a condo there and loves it. We were supposed to do a golf weekend this spring, but couldn't mesh on a date. Lots of good golf nearby. Baywood greens, Bayside, bear trap, etc.

I've stayed there many times in mid-September up until roughly 2005. We stayed in the high rises on the beach and also in the townhouses across the road. We always had a great time but that was almost 20 years ago. It's nice and quiet but Rehoboth is close and OC isn't too far away as well. I would recommend 👍.
