The following ...

Moore and Cassius Stanley match up in practice (Stanley the athletically explosive one vs Moore the longer defender) and improve one another.

Seeing Tre tossing alley-oops to Stanley on fast breaks and set pieces.

Seeing Stanley get a steal and a free path to the basket. Nothing will compare to Zion - a once in a lifetime gem - but Stanley should be awesome.

Seeing Vermon Carey clog the lane, box out, rebound, and score in the low post. At 6'10, 275 he will be a beast to watch.

Seeing / Hoping Tre with an improved outside shot - especially from 3. If he can shoot 35-38% we'll be in much better shape.

Seeing Jack and Alex develop genuine confidence in their outside shot - that lasts the year, not just December/January. If they can shoot well all year that will be a big addition. Especially Jack, imo, because he brings a lot of energy and hustle from off the bench.

Seeing if Hurt is really as good as advertised and can play an all around game. His specialty is his IQ and it will be interesting to see if his game can translate to the college level quickly. If so, between he and Tre and Moore, we could have some really good passing.

Unselfish and Quality passing and the ability to knock down the open 3 is going to be the key to this team as it is nearly is every year.

I look forward to all that as well. If I'm Stanley, anytime Duke gets a rebound, I would be sprinting down the court waiting for the alley-oop. He could make a living at that each game.

Could not have said it better. I'd also like to see contributions from a stronger and more confident Joey Baker, and I'd like Goldwire to at least be able to make layups and 10 footers which would make him uber valuable.

Goldwire had a good year last season. He it layups and made some from the field. His D was one of the best on the team. He will because team leader this season. Glad we have him. OFC
