Every time Gathers gets down low, players should dive. Perhaps, they will call a few fouls on him and get him into foul trouble. Get him out of the game. Or you could send in your worst player and tell him to instigate something with Gathers, hoping he'd lose his cool and does something something back. I'll take a double technical/ejection. Fair tradeoff for WVU having Gathers ejected at the cost of having your worst player ejected.
All about strategy. They have more size and athleticism than WVU which completely neutralizes WVU's strength which is the press. Must get creative especially if Staten and Browne are still out still out with injury.
