I know we as Cat Nation pride ourselves as a team of March, a team of banners that are national champions not just conference/tourney banners that lesser SEC schools (looking at you Vawls) hang their hat on.

But at what point are we going to look ourselves in the mirror and come to grips that Cal had a run but the SEC we feasted on for decades was a 3 bid league and we’ll never be “the CATS” we built our reputation on?

Best run since Covid and the conference puts us back in our current place.

We hadn’t been to a sweet 16 since the Pandemic. I mean St Peter’s…

The Big Blue finally gives us something to hope for, then half the SEC is in the elite 8 and it isn’t us. The conference has caught us, and exceeded us. We’re playing catchup.

Dude get a grip. It's Pope's first year. Do I have to go down the list? Injuries..., oh hell no. You know. Just stop. Give him 1 full season. Not a Spring to build an entire roster.

My god man. Pope had about 2 hours to put this team together and had some big time wins. Maybe give the guy a couple or three years to get guys he really wants and establish a culture. Nobody is likely going to dominate for years on end. The portal and NIL aren’t going to allow that I don’t think.

We laid a foundation for the future this year. Cal tried to tank this program and make it all about nba. I’d bet a mortgage We make an E8 or beyond next year.

Dude people are CLUELESS and trolls. He had ZERO returning points, started late in portal, grabbed the best in the portal he could while doing most by himself then Fueger came on board. Built a coaching staff while trying to build a team. Drove in the middle of the night to pick up Carr. Flying everywhere to get players. If that isn’t hard work and people can’t see it then F these people.

The SEC is historically good this season. A perfect storm of returning players on multiple Senior led teams. Kentucky had a transition year with a new coach and roster. This is a temporary phenomenon. Kentucky will rise to the top of the conference next season.

Not to gripe on the Mods here, but why allow this level of trolling to infiltrate Rafters? Is it possibly to funnel regular posters who are tired of it to a paid membership in the House of Blue? Will never understand why the Mods allow this major problem...

Sound like a UT homer to me 🤔 and it really counts in the Elite Eight. Because it don’t mean sh*t unless you’re making a final four. And those poor bastards are 100 years behind..

When your team is playing in Lucas Oil at the end of March, and you had eight wins against the top 15 ranked teams during the season, then you know your first year coach did a mighty fine job and the future is bright.

I really don't understand some folks. Just give in so easily and have no remembrance of the history of this program. This the winningest program ever in the NCAAT. E V E R.

Coach walked into the SEC when it has never been this good. Relax and get some perspective.
